Type II Anodizing is an electrochemical process that provides a durable, resistant substance to 100% aluminum by forming a protective coating of aluminum oxide on the surface of the metal. This coating produces a soft to medium-hard protection, making the aluminum less susceptible to damage and corrosion while generating an electrically non-conductive exterior. In addition to the popular clear coating, the aluminum can also be dyed to spec with any of our 10 standard colors or 41 additional si:2ecial order designer colors, enhancing not only the aesthetic image of your product, but also supplying it with the signature protective finish of Type II anodizing.
